Ok so it’s Wednesday , March 24th 2004, and it’s 18.00 PM ; Yesterday was a class free afternoon, so Pauline and I went to the Champs Elysées, tryin to catch a glimpse of posh life , and most of all, tryin to see some cute american dudes, stydying at the american school … Our mission kinda failed, cuz the so-called american high turned out to be a posh school for rich and not famous French chicks , with tight Diesel pants showing their huge asses, and Vuitton handbags … Ludicrous

So we just decided to go to the non-French-speaking high, with ( that was what we thought ) its real american dudes ! So the school actually looks like an old manor or something in the « old burgesy style » . We just waited in front of the school till student came out, and what we saw was like a total revelation : all these kids were like speakin american like I’ve always wanted my boyfriend , or even I , to talk like … Pauline and I were like : « Fuck this shit, that’s where I wanna live ! » , and we were like « OK, so next summer holiday, we’re gonna try everything that’s possible to go to that fuckin country, cuz we just can’t wait anymore » , so on the way back home, we only talked in English, just to check if people in the subway thought we were some american girls … And it fuckin worked !! I mean, people completely believed the shit !
Then we had to go to the theater, to watch a play with my beloved French teacher ( no honestly I kinda like her …), so we just sat next to each other, and talked, we just couldn’t stop ! I mean I was actually thinking in English , and when somebody was askin me a question, I was like «  Er…. » And I had to think for ages before being able to talk in French !  But the funniest thing was when that girl was distributing brochures about a communist guy applying for the next elections, and I came to her like « Can I have one ? » , I hadn’t noticed first, but Pauline was laughing her ass off, and I realized that had just said it in English, and the girl was completely lost … I was so embarrassed I didn’t know what to tell her and I just said « Fuck ! » and we were laughing like total jerks …
But I realized that people actually looked at us as if we were really american , and it felt so good …

Oh ! And I was almost forgetting the meer fact of that day ! On our way back to the subway, we saw these guys, demonstrating cause of some unfair law ( still another one ) about PE , and there was the police, around them, imprisoning them with sort of fences !! Pauline and I were looking at them, staring at each other like « What the fuck ?…» ; there was about two riot policemen for only one demonstrant ! I mean what the fuck was this ? Some kind of a George Bush caricature ? That guy , Sarkozy thinks French people need to see a fuckin movie in the streets to feel safe … I mean life is not a fuckin Armageddon ! I can’t believe it, we spend our whole lifetime criticizing the US and Bush’s policy , but what the fuck is goin on in our own country ? I feel like someday France will be like a second « Bushland » … No fuckin way !

06:42 PM Pauline’s just called , and guess what !! Tana invites us to come with her in the US, to see GC, Mest, and the others performing for the Warped Tour !! I just can’t believe it ! If it turns out to be possible, I’ll have to thank the Holy Lord for the rest of my life !! Oh my God , could this be true…

08:53 PM Just ate Chinese . It seems that the Chinese girl that took my order didn’t speak a word of French, cause my lime chicken was missing … My life’s so hard I can’t believe it … lol
Ok so I’ve just told Mum about the trip to San Fransisco and she seemed pretty cool about it . Of course she couldn’t help worrying about the money problem, but she wasn’t like «  No way , I’ll never ever let you outta this house, hear me ? » , she was more like «  Can you give me more details ? » Isn’t it cool? I mean, my Mum is the most important person I need to have on my side if I ever wanna be able to leave this continent … I was at first kinda worried about the fact that my mother would stay at home a whole week long, you know like the kind of problem you can have in this kind of situation, such as always having your Mom behind your back, never be able to watch TV, and so on … But it’s actually pretty cool, we just chit chat all day, talkin about clothes, trips to California, my last school report ( no that’s not so cool … ) , …
By the way, my Dad’s (still) not here tonight, that’s why we’re kinda havin fun … No crapp, when the guy’s here, the ambiance is like the Cold War, but worst .
